At Syrian Forum USA, we understand the critical importance of food security and sustainable livelihoods for the displaced and vulnerable populations in northern Syria.
Through our Food Security and Livelihoods projects, we are dedicated to addressing immediate needs and fostering long-term development. Our projects are designed to create sustainable solutions for food security and livelihoods in local communities.
In the agricultural sector, we supplied over 54,000 farmers with essential input of the highest standards and provided technical training on good agricultural practices. This support helps farmers increase their productivity and sustainability, ensuring a more reliable food supply.
Additionally, we have supported 630,000 olive trees with agricultural services such as pruning and harvesting, a vital crop for the region’s economy and food security. To support the recovery of the livestock sector, we distribute necessary inputs to livestock breeders, including cattle, feed, vaccines, and technical training. So far, we have vaccinated over 1.8 million livestock, a critical step in maintaining animal health and productivity. Strengthening the livestock sector improves food security and livelihoods for families dependent on animal husbandry.
Moreover, Syrian Forum USA supports various food processing projects aimed at increasing household income, particularly for women. By providing training and resources for food processing, we enable women to contribute to their families’ income, enhancing their economic stability and empowerment.
In a region where resilience is tested daily, Syrian Forum USA’s initiatives not only meeting urgent needs but also laying the groundwork for a stable and prosperous future. We continue to innovate and adapt our programs to create lasting positive impacts. Join us in our mission to build a foundation for growth, self-sufficiency, and renewed hope in northern Syria.
