The Syrian Forum’s Economic Empowerment projects take a holistic approach and make maximum social and economic impact on local communities. This farming season was productive for olive farmers who benefited from our agricultural empowerment projects. At harvest time, we also provided dozens of workers with wages to help farmers in harvesting. These cash for work projects not only give jobless Syrians an opportunity to earn much needed funds, but also contribute to strengthening local business and trade.
