Over 145,600 displaced Syrians fled the violence in Sweida now sheltering in abandoned buildings and temporary shelters. Among them are exhausted mothers, fragile newborns, and terrified children.
They’ve escaped the violence, only to face another crisis: No baby milk. No diapers. No clean water. Little to no food.
For the youngest, every hour without nourishment is a risk.
Mothers are desperate to soothe their crying infants, but their arms are empty. No formula. No diapers. No clean water to prepare a safe bottle. Hunger and helplessness are everywhere.
OUR EMERGENCY GOAL
To respond swiftly and effectively, we are working to provide:
- Baby milk and diapers for 2,000 displaced infants
- Water tanks for 30 overcrowded temporary shelters
