The Dollani program continues to make strides in northwest Syria, offering young men and women an opportunity to enhance their technical skills and contribute to the region’s economic development. The program provides a comprehensive range of training programs, professional workshops, and discussion sessions aimed at fostering technical expertise and improving employment prospects in the tech sector.
A notable feature of the Dollani initiative is the “Dollani Talk” series, which consists of interactive dialogue sessions with experienced professionals in the tech industry. These sessions shine a light on key technical work areas, challenges faced by professionals, and personal experiences, with a focus on achieving success in a region isolated from the global community.
To date, 17 sessions have been conducted, with over 200 participants exploring topics such as the elements of success in online work, strategies for acing job interviews, and the essentials of continuous development and employment. In addition, the program is currently hosting its second training camp in Azaz, northern Syria, dedicated to Arabic content writing for search engine optimization (SEO).
The camp has attracted 25 participants. It offers intensive training on the basics of Arabic content writing for SEO, covering key aspects such as keyword selection, crafting compelling titles, and creating informative content. The camp also delves into other SEO techniques, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
The Dollani program is committed to providing high-quality training that caters to the needs of both beginners and professionals. It aims to continue delivering valuable training content that will enhance the technical skills of young individuals in northwest Syria and connect them with external companies for job opportunities. This initiative is expected to play a significant role in improving the economic landscape of the region.
Looking ahead, Dollani plans to offer professional workshops for partners on the importance of landing pages and discuss graduation projects for the second batch of trainees. Furthermore, the program is set to launch a Mentorship Program with eight mentors across various technical and professional fields, sharing their extensive practical experience with Dollani partners. This comprehensive approach to technical training and professional development is poised to make a lasting impact on the youth and the tech sector in northwest Syria.
