Development and Humanitarian Affairs

Providing direct humanitarian aid to displaced Syrians, Ihsan programs impact individuals and families whose lives have been shattered by violence. Ihsan aims to support Syrians in their daily lives by alleviating suffering, fostering economic and social development, and supporting a vibrant civil society. Through relief, recovery, and development, Ihsan has supported hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries. Ihsan has emerged as one of the most active relief and development organizations serving people in Syria.

Economic Empowerment

Dedicated to fostering self-reliance among Syrians, our Economic Empowerment Program equips individuals with vocational, computer, language, and specialized skills training. By enabling Syrians to apply these skills, we pave the path toward economic independence. To date, we've placed in jobs over 39,000 individuals in Türkiye and Syria, fostering financial independency and sustainability. Our focus extends to digital skills training, aiming to ensure financial self-sufficiency for Syrians in their home country and in host countries. We aim to build a network of technical professionals, providing avenues for remote job opportunities. Additionally, we facilitate access to job training programs, small business grants, and initiatives that promote self-reliance in northern Syria. Through this initiative, we've already disbursed 3,600 small business grants to vulnerable families, impacting lives and communities positively.

Public Policy & Research

Our program is dedicated to informing and guiding policy decisions concerning Syria. We aim to be the go-to source for decision-makers and influencers, providing in-depth knowledge and strategic insights. Our focus is broad, encompassing political, developmental, societal, economic, and governance issues, crucial for rebuilding and strengthening Syrian state institutions. Through thoughtful studies and reports, we are creating tools for understanding the complex dynamics of the Syrian crisis and providing well-researched and strategic policy recommendations that not only address current issues but also pave the way for long term effective governance and development and enhance democratic practices.

Advocacy

Our advocacy efforts are dedicated to raise awareness, amplify the Syrian cause, and shed light on the humanitarian situation in northern Syria. Through effective advocacy strategies, we seek to foster international cooperation, mobilize resources, and advocate for sustainable solutions to alleviate the suffering of Syrians and rebuild their lives by leveraging various channels and platforms, including media outreach, social media campaigns, and collaborations with influential figures and organizations. We strive to ensure that the voices of the Syrian people are heard and that their stories resonate with the world.
